DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS
Each semester of JPLA, we worked with small groups of cohort members to explore each each area of schooling. We researched the whole child in the areas of physical development, cognitive development, literacy and language development, self-concept and identity, and peer relations and moral development. We also completed many school observations and conducted an analysis of district programs to determine if the programs offered were developmentally appropriate. We were able to reflect on what we observed and learn to determine how these revelations will impact our future leadership roles.
